I've released the first new version of the New Testament Names knowledgebase in about a year, on the SemanticBible.org website.
The most significant difference is that i've split it into two files. NTNames.owl contains the ontology definition proper (classes and properties), and NTN-individuals.owl has the instance data describing individuals. If you want to work with the data, the easiest thing is to download the zip file contain both (and a few other notes).
It's hard to find a size metric that's both meaningful and easy to generate. Just counting the RDF triples, though, as produced by the W3C RDF Validation Service, the current version has 4453 triples (502 in NTNames.owl, 3951 in NTN-individuals.owl). The previous version from September last year has 2455, so there's almost twice as much data. It's still incomplete, though: while i've done most of the data for the Woman class, i've only done Aaron through Crispus for the Man class (with some occasional data on later instances as well).
I still don't have a good browser-based way to view the data, which is a significant shortcoming. You can download Protege and work with the data directly, but that's too steep an entry requirement unless you're a serious semantic-web propeller-head. Here's a picture of the whole ontology, except for a few minor changes in the current release. But i need to continue focusing on creating the data itself (the most important product) before turning my attention to the next two tasks: how to visualize it, and indexing all the names back to the Bible verses they occur in.
