Matt.1.18Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.
Matt.2.8And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.”
Matt.7.7Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Matt.7.8For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
Matt.7.14For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Matt.8.10When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who him, “Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith.
Matt.10.11And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it and stay there until you depart.
Matt.10.39Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
Matt.11.29Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Matt.12.43“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none.
Matt.12.44Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order.
Matt.13.44“The kingdom of heaven is treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
Matt.13.46who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
Matt.16.25For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
Matt.17.27However, not to give offense to them, go to the sea and cast a hook and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.”
Matt.18.13And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.
Matt.18.28But when that same servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii, and seizing him, he began to choke him, saying, ‘Pay what you owe.’
Matt.20.6And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing. And he said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’
Matt.21.2saying to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.
Matt.21.19And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” And the fig tree withered at once.
Matt.22.9Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’
Matt.22.10And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.
Matt.24.46Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
Matt.26.40And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour?
Matt.26.43And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.
Matt.26.60but they found none, though many false witnesses came forward. At last two came forward
Matt.27.32As they went out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. They compelled this man to carry his cross.
Mark.1.37and they found him and said to him, “Everyone is looking for you.”
Mark.6.38And he said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they had found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.”
Mark.7.30And she went home and found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.
Mark.11.2and said to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately as you enter it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it.
Mark.11.4And they went away and found a colt tied at a door outside in the street, and they untied it.
Mark.11.13And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
Mark.13.36lest he come suddenly and find you asleep.
Mark.14.16And the disciples set out and went to the city and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
Mark.14.37And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour?
Mark.14.40And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy, and they did not know what to answer him.
Mark.14.55Now the chief priests and the whole Council were seeking testimony against Jesus to put him to death, but they found none.
Luke.1.30And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
Luke.2.12And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
Luke.2.16And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger.
Luke.2.45and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, searching for him.
Luke.2.46After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.
Luke.4.17And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,
Luke.5.19but finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the midst before Jesus.
Luke.6.7And the scribes and the Pharisees watched him, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath, so that they might find a reason to accuse him.
Luke.7.9When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.”
Luke.7.10And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well.
Luke.8.35Then people went out to see what had happened, and they came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had gone, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.
Luke.9.12Now the day began to wear away, and the twelve came and said to him, “Send the crowd away to go into the surrounding villages and countryside to find lodging and get provisions, for we are here in a desolate place.”
Luke.9.36And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent and told no one in those days anything of what they had seen.
Luke.11.9And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Luke.11.10For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

Luke.12.38If he comes in the second watch, or in the third, and finds them awake, blessed are those servants!
Luke.12.43Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
Luke.13.6And he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
Luke.13.7And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’
Luke.15.4“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?
Luke.15.5And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Luke.15.6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’
Luke.15.8“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it?
Luke.15.9And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’
Luke.15.24For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.
Luke.15.32It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’ ”
Luke.17.18Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?”
Luke.18.8I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
Luke.19.30saying, “Go into the village in front of you, where on entering you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever yet sat. Untie it and bring it here.
Luke.19.32So those who were sent went away and found it just as he had told them.
Luke.19.48but they did not find anything they could do, for all the people were hanging on his words.
Luke.22.13And they went and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
Luke.22.45And when he rose from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow,
Luke.23.2And they began to accuse him, saying, “We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding us to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ, a king.”
Luke.23.4Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no guilt in this man.”
Luke.23.14and said to them, “You brought me this man as one who was misleading the people. And after examining him before you, behold, I did not find this man guilty of any of your charges against him.
Luke.23.22A third time he said to them, “Why, what evil has he done? I have found in him no guilt deserving death. I will therefore punish and release him.”
Luke.24.2And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb,
Luke.24.3but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
Luke.24.23and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
Luke.24.24Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but him they did not see.”
Luke.24.33And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together,
John.1.41He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means Christ).
John.1.43The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “ me.”
John.1.45Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
John.2.14In the temple he found those who were selling oxen and sheep and pigeons, and the money-changers sitting there.
John.5.14Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.”
John.6.25When they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”
John.7.34You will seek me and you will not find me. Where I am you cannot come.”
John.7.35The Jews said to one another, “Where does this man intend to go that we will not find him? Does he intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?
John.7.36What does he mean by saying, ‘You will seek me and you will not find me,’ and, ‘Where I am you cannot come’?”
John.8.37I know that you are offspring of Abraham; yet you seek to kill me because my word finds no place in you.
John.9.35Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
John.10.9I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
John.11.17Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days.
John.12.14And Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written,
John.18.38Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him.
John.19.4Pilate went out again and said to them, “See, I am bringing him out to you that you may know that I find no guilt in him.”
John.19.6When the chief priests and the officers saw him, they cried out, “Crucify him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves and crucify him, for I find no guilt in him.”
John.21.6He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish.
Acts.4.21And when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people, for all were praising God for what had happened.
Acts.5.10Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.
Acts.5.22But when the officers came, they did not find them in the prison, so they returned and reported,
Acts.5.23“We found the prison securely locked and the guards standing at the doors, but when we opened them we found no one inside.”
Acts.5.39but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” So they took his advice,
Acts.7.11Now there came a famine throughout all Egypt and Canaan, and great affliction, and our fathers could find no food.
Acts.7.46who found favor in the sight of God and asked to find a dwelling place for the God of Jacob.
Acts.8.40But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he preached the gospel to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.
Acts.9.2and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
Acts.9.33There he found a man named Aeneas, bedridden for eight years, who was paralyzed.
Acts.10.27And as he talked with him, he went in and found many persons gathered.
Acts.11.26and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians.
Acts.12.19And after Herod searched for him and did not find him, he examined the sentries and ordered that they should be put to death. Then he went down from Judea to Caesarea and spent time there.
Acts.13.22And when he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified and said, ‘I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.’
Acts.13.28And though they found in him no guilt worthy of death, they asked Pilate to have him executed.
Acts.17.6And when they could not find them, they dragged Jason and some of the brothers before the city authorities, shouting, “These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also,
Acts.17.23For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you.
Acts.17.27that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,
Acts.18.2And he found a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. And he went to see them,
Acts.19.1And it happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the inland country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples.
Acts.19.19And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver.
Acts.21.2And having found a ship crossing to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail.
Acts.22.24the tribune ordered him to be brought into the barracks, saying that he should be examined by flogging, to find out why they were shouting against him this.
Acts.23.9Then a great clamor arose, and some of the scribes of the Phariseesparty stood up and contended sharply, “We find nothing wrong in this man. What if a spirit or an angel spoke to him?”
Acts.23.29I found that he was being accused about questions of their law, but charged with nothing deserving death or imprisonment.
Acts.24.5For we have found this man a plague, one who stirs up riots among all the Jews throughout the world and is a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.
Acts.24.8By examining him yourself you will be able to find out from him about everything of which we accuse him.”
Acts.24.12and they did not find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the temple or in the synagogues or in the city.
Acts.24.18While I was doing this, they found me purified in the temple, without any crowd or tumult. But some Jews from Asia
Acts.24.20Or else let these men themselves say what wrongdoing they found when I stood before the council,
Acts.25.25But I found that he had done nothing deserving death. And as he himself appealed to the emperor, I decided to go ahead and send him.
Acts.27.6There the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing for Italy and put us on board.
Acts.27.28So they took a sounding and found twenty fathoms. A little farther on they took a sounding again and found fifteen fathoms.
Acts.28.14There we found brothers and were invited to stay with them for seven days. And so we came to Rome.
Rom.7.21So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand.
Rom.9.19You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?”
Rom.10.20Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, “ I have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.”
1Cor.4.2Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.
1Cor.4.19But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I will find out not the talk of these arrogant people but their power.
1Cor.15.15We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised.
2Cor.1.20For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.
2Cor.2.13my spirit was not at rest because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I took leave of them and went on to Macedonia.

2Cor.6.3We put no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,

Eph.5.9(for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),

Rev.20.11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.
Rev.20.15And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
