Mark.15.1And as soon as it was morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole Council. And they bound Jesus and led him away and delivered him over to Pilate.
Mark.15.5But Jesus made no further answer, so that Pilate was amazed.
Mark.15.15So Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, released for them Barabbas, and having scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
Mark.15.34And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Mark.15.37And Jesus uttered a loud cry and breathed his last.
Mark.15.43Joseph of Arimathea, a respected member of the Council, who was also himself looking for the kingdom of God, took courage and went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

Luke.7.3When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant.
Luke.7.4And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him,
Luke.7.6And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof.

Luke.8.27When Jesus had stepped out on land, there met him a man from the city who had demons. For a long time he had worn no clothes, and he had not lived in a house but among the tombs.
Luke.8.28When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before him and said with a loud voice, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, do not torment me.”
Luke.8.30Jesus then asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” for many demons had entered him.
Luke.8.35Then people went out to see what had happened, and they came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had gone, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.
Luke.8.38The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,
Luke.8.39Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.
Luke.8.40Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.

Luke.8.50But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”
Luke.9.33And as the men were parting from him, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah”—not knowing what he said.

Luke.10.29But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
Luke.10.30Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead.
Luke.10.37He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”
Luke.10.38Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house.
Luke.11.1Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.”

Luke.17.13and lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”
Luke.17.16and he fell on his face at Jesusfeet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan.

Luke.18.19And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.
Luke.18.22When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “One thing you still lack. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, me.”
Luke.18.24Jesus, looking at him with sadness, said, “How difficult it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!
Luke.18.37They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”
Luke.18.38And he cried out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Luke.18.40And Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought to him. And when he came near, he asked him,
Luke.18.42And Jesus said to him, “Recover your sight; your faith has made you well.”
Luke.19.3And he was seeking to see who Jesus was, but on of the crowd he could not, because he was small of stature.
Luke.19.5And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.”

Luke.22.34Jesus said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow this day, until you deny three times that you know me.”
Luke.22.47While he was still speaking, there came a crowd, and the man called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He drew near to Jesus to kiss him,
Luke.22.48but Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”
Luke.22.51But Jesus said, “No more of this!” And he touched his ear and healed him.
Luke.22.52Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders, who had come out against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?

Luke.23.25He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus over to their will.
Luke.23.26And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind Jesus.
Luke.23.28But turning to them Jesus said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
Luke.23.34And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.
Luke.23.42And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Luke.23.46Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.
Luke.23.52This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
Luke.24.3but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
Luke.24.15While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them.
Luke.24.19And he said to them, “What things?” And they said to him, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,
Luke.24.36As they were talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you!”
John.1.17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
John.1.29The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
John.1.36and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
John.1.37The two disciples heard him say this, and they Jesus.
John.1.38Jesus turned and saw them and said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?”
John.1.40One of the two who heard John speak and Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
John.1.42He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “So you are Simon the son of John? You shall be called Cephas” (which means Peter).
John.1.43The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “ me.”
John.1.45Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
John.1.47Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!”
John.1.48Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
John.1.50Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.”
John.2.1On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
John.2.2Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples.
John.2.3When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.”
John.2.4And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.”
John.2.7Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.
John.2.11This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.
John.2.13The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
John.2.19Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
John.2.22When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.
John.2.24But Jesus on his part did not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people
John.3.2This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.”
John.3.3Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
John.3.5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
John.3.10Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things?
John.3.22After this Jesus and his disciples went into the Judean countryside, and he remained there with them and was baptizing.
John.4.1Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John
John.4.2(although Jesus himself did not baptize, but only his disciples),
John.4.6Jacob’s well was there; so Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour.
John.4.7There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”
John.4.10Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”
John.4.13Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again,
John.4.16Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”
John.4.17The woman answered him, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You are right in saying, ‘I have no husband’;
John.4.21Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
John.4.26Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”
John.4.34Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.
John.4.44(For Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in his own hometown.)
John.4.47When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.
John.4.48So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.”
John.4.50Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way.
John.4.53The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” And he himself believed, and all his household.
John.4.54This was now the second sign that Jesus did when he had come from Judea to Galilee.
John.5.1After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
John.5.6When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?”
John.5.8Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.”
John.5.13Now the man who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, as there was a crowd in the place.
John.5.14Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.”
John.5.15The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had healed him.
John.5.16And this was why the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because he was doing these things on the Sabbath.
John.5.17But Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”
John.5.19So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.
John.6.1After this Jesus went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.
John.6.3Jesus went up on the mountain, and there he sat down with his disciples.
John.6.5Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?”
John.6.10Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number.
John.6.11Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.
John.6.15Perceiving then that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
John.6.17got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.
John.6.19When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened.
John.6.22On the next day the crowd that remained on the other side of the sea saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with his disciples, but that his disciples had gone away alone.
John.6.24So when the crowd saw that Jesus was not there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and went to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
John.6.26Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.
John.6.29Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
John.6.32Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
John.6.35Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.
John.6.42They said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”
John.6.43Jesus answered them, “Do not grumble among yourselves.
John.6.53So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
John.6.59Jesus said these things in the synagogue, as he taught at Capernaum.
John.6.61But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offense at this?
John.6.64But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.)
John.6.67So Jesus said to the Twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?”
John.6.70Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the Twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.”
John.7.1After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He would not go about in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him.
John.7.6Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always here.
John.7.14About the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and began teaching.
John.7.16So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.
John.7.21Jesus answered them, “I did one deed, and you all marvel at it.
John.7.28So Jesus proclaimed, as he taught in the temple, “You know me, and you know where I come from? But I have not come of my own accord. He who sent me is true, and him you do not know.
John.7.33Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.
John.7.37On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.
John.7.39Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
John.8.1but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
John.8.6This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground.
John.8.9But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.
John.8.10Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
John.8.11She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”]]
John.8.12Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John.8.14Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.
John.8.19They said to him therefore, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”
John.8.25So they said to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been telling you from the beginning.
John.8.28So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me.
John.8.31So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,
John.8.34Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.
John.8.39They answered him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would be doing what Abraham did,
John.8.42Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me.
John.8.49Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me.
John.8.54Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’
John.8.58Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”
John.8.59So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.
John.9.3Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.
John.9.11He answered, “The man called Jesus made mud and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed and received my sight.”
John.9.14Now it was a Sabbath day when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.
John.9.22(His parents said these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone should confess Jesus to be Christ, he was to be put out of the synagogue.)
John.9.35Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
John.9.37Jesus said to him, “You have seen him, and it is he who is speaking to you.”
John.9.39Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”
John.9.41Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.
John.10.6This figure of speech Jesus used with them, but they did not understand what he was saying to them.
John.10.7So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
John.10.23and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the colonnade of Solomon.
John.10.25Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me,
John.10.32Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?”
John.10.34Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’?
John.11.4But when Jesus heard it he said, “This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”
John.11.5Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
John.11.9Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.
John.11.13Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep.
John.11.14Then Jesus told them plainly, “Lazarus has died,
John.11.17Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days.
John.11.20So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary remained seated in the house.
John.11.21Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.
John.11.23Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
John.11.25Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,
John.11.30Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still in the place where Martha had met him.
John.11.32Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”
John.11.33When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled.
John.11.35Jesus wept.
John.11.38Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.
John.11.39Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, “Lord, by this time there will be an odor, for he has been dead four days.”
John.11.40Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
John.11.41So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
John.11.44The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”
John.11.46but some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.
John.11.51He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation,
John.11.54Jesus therefore no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and there he stayed with the disciples.
John.11.56They were looking for Jesus and saying to one another as they stood in the temple, “What do you think? That he will not come to the feast at all?”
John.12.1Six days before the Passover, Jesus therefore came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
John.12.3Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
John.12.7Jesus said, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of my burial.
John.12.9When the large crowd of the Jews learned that Jesus was there, they came, not only on of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
John.12.11because on of him many of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus.
John.12.12The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.
John.12.14And Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written,
John.12.16His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about him and had been done to him.
John.12.21So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”
John.12.22Philip went and told Andrew; Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus.
John.12.23And Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
John.12.30Jesus answered, “This voice has come for your sake, not mine.
John.12.35So Jesus said to them, “The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
John.12.36When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from them.
John.12.44And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me.
John.13.1Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
John.13.3Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going back to God,
John.13.7Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.”
John.13.8Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no with me.”
John.13.10Jesus said to him, “The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you.”
John.13.21After saying these things, Jesus was troubled in his spirit, and testified, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.”
John.13.23One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was reclining at table close to Jesus,
John.13.24so Simon Peter motioned to him to ask Jesus of whom he was speaking.
John.13.25So that disciple, leaning back against Jesus, said to him, “Lord, who is it?”
John.13.26Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I will give this morsel of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
John.13.27Then after he had taken the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.”
John.13.29Some thought that, because Judas had the moneybag, Jesus was telling him, “Buy what we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor.
John.13.31When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
John.13.36Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered him, “Where I am going you cannot me now, but you will afterward.”
John.13.38Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? Truly, truly, I say to you, the rooster will not crow till you have denied me three times.
John.14.6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John.14.9Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
John.14.23Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
John.16.19Jesus knew that they wanted to ask him, so he said to them, “Is this what you are asking yourselves, what I meant by saying, ‘A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me’?
John.16.31Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe?
John.17.1When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you,
John.17.3And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
John.18.1When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples across the Kidron Valley, where there was a garden, which he and his disciples entered.
John.18.2Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.
John.18.4Then Jesus, knowing all that would happen to him, came forward and said to them, “Whom do you seek?”
John.18.5They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am he.” Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.
John.18.6When Jesus said to them, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
John.18.7So he asked them again, “Whom do you seek?” And they said, “Jesus of Nazareth.”
John.18.8Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. So, if you seek me, let these men go.”
John.18.11So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?”
John.18.12So the band of soldiers and their captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound him.
John.18.15Simon Peter Jesus, and so did another disciple. Since that disciple was known to the high priest, he entered with Jesus into the court of the high priest,
John.18.19The high priest then questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teaching.
John.18.20Jesus answered him, “I have spoken openly to the world. I have always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together. I have said nothing in secret.
John.18.22When he had said these things, one of the officers standing by struck Jesus with his hand, saying, “Is that how you answer the high priest?”
John.18.23Jesus answered him, “If what I said is wrong, bear witness about the wrong; but if what I said is right, why do you strike me?”
John.18.28Then they led Jesus from the house of Caiaphas to the governor’s headquarters. It was early morning. They themselves did not enter the governor’s headquarters, so that they would not be defiled, but could eat the Passover.
John.18.32This was to fulfill the word that Jesus had spoken to show by what kind of death he was going to die.
John.18.33So Pilate entered his headquarters again and called Jesus and said to him, “Are you the King of the Jews?”
John.18.34Jesus answered, “Do you say this of your own accord, or did others say it to you about me?”
John.18.36Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”
John.18.37Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”
John.19.1Then Pilate took Jesus and flogged him.
John.19.5So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Behold the man!”
John.19.9He entered his headquarters again and said to Jesus, “Where are you from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.
John.19.11Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.”
John.19.13So when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called The Stone Pavement, and in Aramaic Gabbatha.
John.19.16So they took Jesus,
John.19.18There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them.
John.19.19Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.”
John.19.20Many of the Jews read this inscription, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Aramaic, in Latin, and in Greek.
John.19.23When the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they took his garments and divided them into four parts, one part for each soldier; also his tunic. But the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom,
John.19.25but standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
John.19.26When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!”
John.19.28After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.”
John.19.30When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
John.19.33But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs.
John.19.38After these things Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus, and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took away his body.
John.19.39Nicodemus also, who earlier had come to Jesus by night, came bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds in weight.
John.19.40So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews.
John.19.42So because of the Jewish day of Preparation, since the tomb was close at hand, they laid Jesus there.
John.20.2So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.”
John.20.7and the face cloth, which had been on Jesushead, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself.
John.20.12And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet.
John.20.14Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus.
John.20.15Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”
John.20.16Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher).
John.20.17Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
John.20.19On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
John.20.21Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
John.20.24Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came.
John.20.26Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”
John.20.29Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
John.20.30Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;
John.20.31but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
John.21.1After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way.
John.21.4Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
John.21.5Jesus said to them, “Children, do you have any fish?” They answered him, “No.”
John.21.7That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea.
John.21.10Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.”
John.21.12Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord.
John.21.13Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish.
John.21.14This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.
John.21.15When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.”
John.21.17He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.
John.21.20Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved them, the one who had been reclining at table close to him and had said, “Lord, who is it that is going to betray you?”
John.21.21When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?”
John.21.22Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You me!”
John.21.23So the saying spread abroad among the brothers that this disciple was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?”
John.21.25Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.
Acts.1.1In the first book, O Theophilus, I have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach,
Acts.1.11and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

Acts.7.59And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
Acts.8.12But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Acts.10.48And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days.

Acts.17.18Some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers also conversed with him. And some said, “What does this babbler wish to say?” Others said, “He seems to be a preacher of foreign divinities”—because he was preaching Jesus and the resurrection.
Acts.18.5When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul was occupied with the word, testifying to the Jews that the Christ was Jesus.
Acts.18.25He had been instructed in the way of the Lord. And being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John.

Rom.1.1Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
Rom.1.4and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
Rom.1.6including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ,
Rom.1.7To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom.1.8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world.
Rom.2.16on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.
Rom.3.22the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:
Rom.3.24and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
Rom.3.26It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Rom.4.24but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord,

Rom.5.11More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Rom.5.15But the free gift is not the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.
Rom.5.17If, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
Rom.5.21so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom.6.3Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom.6.11So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Rom.6.23For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rom.7.25Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
Rom.8.1There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Rom.8.2For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
Rom.8.11If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
Rom.8.34Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who diedmore than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.
Rom.8.39nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rom.10.9because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom.13.14But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
Rom.14.14I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean.
Rom.15.5May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,
Rom.15.6that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom.15.16to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Rom.15.17In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to be proud of my work for God.
Rom.15.30I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf,
Rom.16.3Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus,
Rom.16.20The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
Rom.16.25Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages
Rom.16.27to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.
1Cor.1.1Paul, called by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and our brother Sosthenes,
1Cor.1.2To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:
1Cor.1.3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1Cor.1.4I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus,
1Cor.1.7so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
1Cor.1.8who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Cor.1.9God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1Cor.1.10I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.
1Cor.1.30He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
1Cor.2.2For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
1Cor.3.11For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1Cor.4.15For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
1Cor.5.4When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus,
1Cor.6.11And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
1Cor.8.6yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
1Cor.9.1Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are not you my workmanship in the Lord?
1Cor.11.23For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread,
1Cor.12.3Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever saysJesus is accursed!” and no one can sayJesus is Lordexcept in the Holy Spirit.
1Cor.15.31I protest, brothers, by my pride in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die every day!
1Cor.15.57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Cor.16.23The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.
1Cor.16.24My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
2Cor.1.1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God that is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:
2Cor.1.2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2Cor.1.3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
2Cor.1.14just as you did partially acknowledge us, that on the day of our Lord Jesus you will boast of us as we will boast of you.
2Cor.1.19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, was not Yes and No, but in him it is always Yes.
2Cor.4.5For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesussake.
2Cor.4.6For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2Cor.4.10always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
2Cor.4.11For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesussake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
2Cor.4.14knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence.
2Cor.8.9For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.
2Cor.11.4For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.
2Cor.11.31The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.
2Cor.13.5Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? —unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
2Cor.13.14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Gal.1.1Paul, an apostle—not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead
Gal.1.3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
Gal.1.12For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
Gal.2.4Yet because of false brothers secretly brought in—who slipped in to spy out our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might bring us into slavery
Gal.2.16yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
Gal.3.1O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified.
Gal.3.14so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.
Gal.3.22But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Gal.3.26for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.
Gal.3.28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal.4.14and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, but received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.
Gal.5.6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.
Gal.5.24And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Gal.6.14But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Gal.6.17From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
Gal.6.18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
Eph.1.1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:
Eph.1.2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eph.1.3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
Eph.1.5he predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,
Eph.1.15For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,
Eph.1.17that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,
Eph.2.6and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Eph.2.7so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Eph.2.10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Eph.2.13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Eph.2.20built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone,
Eph.3.1For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles
Eph.3.6This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
Eph.3.11This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Eph.3.21to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Eph.4.21assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus,
Eph.5.20giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Eph.6.23Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eph.6.24Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible.
Phil.1.1Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and deacons:
Phil.1.2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Phil.1.6And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Phil.1.8For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.
Phil.1.11filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Phil.1.19for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance,
Phil.1.26so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.
Phil.2.5Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
Phil.2.10so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Phil.2.11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Phil.2.19I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be cheered by news of you.
Phil.2.21They all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.
Phil.3.3For we are the real circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh
Phil.3.8Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ
Phil.3.12Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
Phil.3.14I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Phil.3.20But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Phil.4.7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Phil.4.19And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Phil.4.21Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you.
Phil.4.23The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
Col.1.1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
Col.1.3We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,
Col.1.4since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints,
Col.2.6Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,
Col.3.17And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Col.4.11and Jesus who is called Justus. These are the only men of the circumcision among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.
Col.4.12Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.
1Thess.1.1Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace.
1Thess.1.3remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Thess.1.10and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
1Thess.2.14For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea. For you suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews,
1Thess.2.15who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out, and displease God and oppose all mankind
1Thess.2.19For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you?
1Thess.3.11Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you,
1Thess.3.13so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.
1Thess.4.1Finally, then, brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to live and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more.
1Thess.4.2For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
1Thess.4.14For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
1Thess.5.9For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
1Thess.5.18give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1Thess.5.23Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Thess.5.28The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
2Thess.1.1Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2Thess.1.2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2Thess.1.7and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels
2Thess.1.8in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
2Thess.1.12so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2Thess.2.1Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers,
2Thess.2.8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.
2Thess.2.14To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Thess.2.16Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,
2Thess.3.6Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.
2Thess.3.12Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.
2Thess.3.18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
1Tim.1.1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope,
1Tim.1.2To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
1Tim.1.12I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service,
1Tim.1.14and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
1Tim.1.15The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.
1Tim.1.16But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
1Tim.2.5For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
1Tim.3.13For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.
1Tim.4.6If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have .
1Tim.5.21In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels I charge you to keep these rules without prejudging, doing nothing from partiality.
1Tim.6.3If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness,
1Tim.6.13I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession,
1Tim.6.14to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
2Tim.1.1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God according to the promise of the life that is in Christ Jesus,
2Tim.1.2To Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
2Tim.1.9who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,
2Tim.1.10and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
2Tim.1.13 the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
2Tim.2.1You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus,
2Tim.2.3 in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
2Tim.2.8Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel,
2Tim.2.10Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
2Tim.3.12Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
2Tim.3.15and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
2Tim.4.1I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:
Titus.1.1Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the sake of the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness,
Titus.1.4To Titus, my true child in a common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
Titus.2.13waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
Titus.3.6whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
Phlm.1.1Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother,To Philemon our beloved fellow worker
Phlm.1.3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Phlm.1.5because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and all the saints,
Phlm.1.9yet for love’s sake I prefer to appeal to you—I, Paul, an old man and now a prisoner also for Christ Jesus
Phlm.1.23Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends greetings to you,
Phlm.1.25The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
Heb.2.9But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
Heb.3.1Therefore, holy brothers, you who in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession,
Heb.3.3For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses—as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself.
Heb.4.14Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
Heb.6.20where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
Heb.7.22This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.
Heb.10.10And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Heb.10.19Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus,
Heb.12.2looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb.12.24and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
Heb.13.8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Heb.13.12So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.
Heb.13.20Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
Heb.13.21equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Jas.1.1James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes in the Dispersion:Greetings.
Jas.2.1My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory.
1Pet.1.1Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who are elect exiles of the dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
1Pet.1.2according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.
1Pet.1.3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pet.1.7so that the tested genuineness of your faithmore precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1Pet.1.13Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1Pet.2.5you yourselves living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
1Pet.3.21Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
1Pet.4.11whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
2Pet.1.1Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
2Pet.1.2May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
2Pet.1.8For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pet.1.11For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2Pet.1.14since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.
2Pet.1.16For we did not cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
2Pet.2.20For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
2Pet.3.18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
1John.1.3that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1John.1.7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1John.2.1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
1John.2.22Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.
1John.3.23And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.
1John.4.2By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
1John.4.3and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
1John.4.15Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
1John.5.1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.
1John.5.5Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
1John.5.6This is he who came by water and bloodJesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
1John.5.20And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
2John.1.3Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father’s Son, in truth and love.
